Maple Bear Olomouc
Our kindergarten Maple Bear in Olomouc is located on Kosmonautů Avenue in the newest premise of the BEA campus, which is called the BEA city business residence. The spacious, modern kindergarten facilities are seamlessly connected to the school's playground, where children can spend time outdoors. Parking for parents is provided in the underground garage of the BEA campus for the time necessary to drop off and pick up their children at school.
The school is divided into three age-homogeneous classes:
1. Happy Frogs
"Happy Frogs" for children from 3 to 4 years old
2. Clever Kingfishers
"Clever little ice-breakers" for children from 4 to 5 years old
3. Smart Foxes
"Clever little foxes" for children from 5 to 6 years old
Meals are provided for children throughout the day through the Healthy Pecka bistro. Maple Bear Olomouc Elementary School, which will open in the 2025/2026 school year, will be located at the same address.

Yes, the teaching at Maple Bear Kindergarten is designed to align the Canadian curriculum with the Czech Framework Curriculum for Preschool Education. A team of Canadian education experts, after a thorough analysis of the requirements of the national curriculum frameworks, set up the Maple Bear Schools program to meet the outcomes set by the national ministries of education. Maple Bear Schools enrich local education systems with the best Canadian educational strategies and best practices.
Maple Bear's standards set a maximum of 20 children per kindergarten class. However, the number of students can be lower depending on class size.
According to Maple Bear's standards, two teachers care for each class.
The program is conducted in English, and children are exposed to the immersion method from an early age.
The earlier children start at Maple Bear, the easier it is for them to acquire a second language. It is also worth noting that the process of learning a second language is natural and usually does not require special care or attention from teachers. In a collaborative environment where one helps the other, new students quickly adapt to our hands-on approach to learning and soon get used to the methodology.
Yes, the children are provided with meals throughout the school day.
Yes, the children have a variety of clubs to choose from. More precise information and pricing will be provided before the start of the school year.
Extra-curricular activities are not included in the tuition fee, however, Maple Bear does its best to price them according to the market and to offer a wide range of activities.
Yes, children at Maple Bear wear the uniform they receive from us at the beginning of the school year. It is possible to purchase individual uniform items at any time during the year.
Children come to school in uniform every day. However, individual Maple Bear schools may declare days when uniforms are not worn, usually on holidays and other special occasions.
Maple Bear pupils receive textbooks at school, the cost of which is covered by tuition. Textbooks are based on Canadian and Czech educational materials.
