Kindergarten Maple Bear Olomouc

Our kindergarten Maple Bear in Olomouc is located on Kosmonautů Avenue in the newest premise of the BEA campus, which is called the BEA city business residence.

Modern kindergarten

The spacious, modern kindergarten facilities are seamlessly connected to the school's playground, where children can spend time outdoors. Parking for parents is provided in the underground garage of the BEA campus for the time necessary to drop off and pick up their children at school.

The school is divided into three age-homogeneous classes:

1. Happy Frogs
"Happy Frogs" for children from 3 to 4 years old

2. Clever Kingfishers
"Clever little ice-breakers" for children from 4 to 5 years old

3. Smart Foxes
"Clever little foxes" for children from 5 to 6 years old

Meals are provided for children throughout the day through the Zdravá Pecka bistro. School operation is from 7 am to 5 pm.

Maple Bear Olomouc Elementary School, which will open in the 2025/2026 school year, will be located at the same address.

Operation and regime

The daily regimes at Maple Bear Olomouc are designed to reflect local regulations as well as individual specifics of the three age groups:

Drop off

The day at Maple Bear starts at one of the classrooms - Smart Foxes, where parents can drop their kids from 7AM to 8.40AM. After prior arrangement, children can be brought later but no later than the start of the Maple Bear programme (9AM). Arriving early will ensure sufficient time for the children to acclimatise and play spontaneously as they choose.

Pick up

The same classroom (Smart Foxes) is used in the afternoon to group all children together while extracurricular activities and free play takes place. Children leave the Kindergarten with their parents no later than at 5PM. In the case of half-day attendance, legal guardians pick up the child after rest/nap time.

Uniforms

All Maple Bear students are required to wear an official Maple Bear uniform every day. Maple Bear uniforms are an integral part of the Maple Bear school experience. They foster a sense of:

Food

The food to Maple Bear Olomouc is catered by “Zdravá Pecka”, a food caterer who pride themselves on catering healthy food to kindergartens and schools in the Olomouc region. The ultimate goal is to provide high nutritious food that meets all standards given by the legislation while introducing different types of healthy food to the kids.

BREAKFAST - Breakfast is ready for kids in the classroom from 7AM until 9AM and usually consists of different types of fruits and biscuits.

MORNING SNACK - Morning snack is served at 10AM.

LUNCH - Lunch is served in the classrooms and consists of a soup and a second meal.

AFTERNOON SNACK - Afternoon snack is served at about 2PM. Kids with half-day attendance do not consume afternoon snacks.

In case of food allergies, an alternative meals can be prepared and delivered.
